Meet Mitch Howkins

A native of the Cowesett and Love Lane neighborhoods in Rhode Island, Mitch connects with his community through volunteering, supporting multiple charitable causes, and is dedicated to guiding and protecting Rhode Islanders through what is considered the biggest financial decision of a lifetime-buying or selling a home.

Making a positive impact empowers Mitch. At age 21, he traveled half-way across the world to Australia and Costa Rica to help struggling communities focus on conservation planning and clean-up efforts of polluted wetlands-particularly important for threatened species.

Mitch's longtime passion for coastline conservation instilled his growing interest in Rhode Island's coastal resource management and regulations. He is ready to consult on residential building, seawall renovation and property management along our beautiful 400-mile coastline.

After graduating from Middlebury College with a bachelor's degree in political science, Mitch worked in lobbying and government relations in Boston and Washington D.C. He advised clients within various industries, including financial services, transportation, infrastructure, healthcare, renewable energy and commercial real estate development across all levels of government to negotiate multi-million-dollar revenue results for his clients.
